The Name:
Our robot's name is a play on the words robot, turret, and the popular character from the Fast and the Furious movies, Dom Toretto.
Robot + Turret + Dom Toretto = Rob Turreto.

The Game:
The objective of this project was to create a Kinetic OrB Elevator (KOBE) that competes against others on the battlefield called "the Arcade." The KOBE must deliver a SKEEBALL to the basket located at the end of the Arcade. Above each basket is an infrared beacon pulsing at a frequency specific to Team A or B. The KOBE must sense the beacon to know where the basket is and what team it is on. The colored regions of the Arcade correspond to differing point values, as shown below. The competitor has 2 minutes and 18 seconds to score as many points as they can.
The Game Plan:
Rob Turreto is a KOBE like no other. It is designed with one goal in mind: family. Also shooting from the 5 point region by utilizing a rotating platform. It accomplishes this by operating under the following strategy:
